Some relationships in business go beyond transactions. The partnership between Malik Seeds and Sakata Seed Corporation is one of them. Since the early years of Malik Seeds' founding in 1969, Sakata — one of the world's leading seed breeding companies — has been a cornerstone principal. Over more than five decades, this relationship has quietly shaped the seed landscape of Bangladesh, bringing world-class vegetable varieties to farmers across the country.
The Certificate of Appreciation

The certificate, written in both Japanese and English, honored Malik Seeds for its long-standing role in advancing agriculture in Bangladesh and its invaluable contribution to promoting Sakata's varieties in the Bangladeshi market.
The English certificate reads in part:

What This Recognition Means to Us
Receiving a Certificate of Appreciation from the Chairman of Sakata Seed Corporation — at one of Asia's most prominent seed industry platforms — is a moment of genuine pride for everyone at Malik Seeds.
But more than a personal recognition, this certificate reflects the collective work of the Malik Seeds team — the field staff, the distributors, and every person who has worked to put the right seed in a farmer's hand. And it reflects the trust of the farmers themselves, who have chosen Sakata varieties season after season.
Over more than 50 years, Malik Seeds has been the trusted distributor of Sakata's high-performance hybrid vegetable varieties to farmers across Bangladesh. Varieties developed through Sakata's world-class breeding programs have been adapted to Bangladesh's diverse agro-climatic conditions and have become mainstays on farms across the country — contributing to higher yields, better disease resistance, and improved livelihoods for thousands of farming families.
