Job Summary/ Context:

Our sales department is currently seeking a Territory Sales Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting the company’s products and services to potential customers within their assigned territory. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and be capable of resolving queries in a timely manner. It is crucial for the candidate to have the ability to develop and implement effective sales techniques. They must be self-driven and focused on increasing market share through continuous sales processes. Creating opportunities to explore the market is an important aspect of this role. Prior work experience in the Sales department would be advantageous

Key Assignments/ Duties: (Table of staff’s key duties according to priority) Maintain and expand the customer base:Build and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, and end users to create new customers and increase sales volume.Visit potential customers regularly and maintain a client database.Sales and Promotion:Actively sell and promote the company’s vegetable seed products to existing and potential customers, including farmers, retailers, distributors, and agricultural organizations.Utilize various sales techniques and strategies to increase product awareness and generate demand.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the territory.Provide excellent customer service, address inquiries and concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.Product Knowledge and Support:   Develop a deep understanding of the company’s vegetable seed products, including their features, benefits, and cultivation best practices.Educate customers about the advantages of using the company’s seeds and provide technical support when needed.   Target Orientation:   Must be target-oriented and motivated to achieve sales targets.Independent and Deadline-driven:Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet targets and tight deadlines.   Collaboration:   Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure coordinated efforts and provide valuable field feedback.Sales Reporting:Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, territory performance analysis, and competitor insights.Keep track of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales data using appropriate tools.   Product Presentation and Solution Recommendations:Present company products and services to prospective customers.Identify customer needs and recommend suitable product solutions.   Sales Target Coordination:   Coordinate with the sales team to meet monthly and yearly sales targets.   Continuous Learning:   Stay updated with the latest advancements in the vegetable seed industry.
  •  Required Qualification:
     Graduate/B.Sc.in Agriculture/Diploma

Required Knowledge/experience:

Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 5 years of work experience. Prior work experience in the Sales department is advantageous, indicating a proven sales track record. Sales or communication training is preferred. Must possess a valid motorcycle driving license. Proficient in motorcycle driving. Advantages: Having a motorcycle driving license is advantageous for the role, as it allows for efficient transportation and accessibility within the assigned territory. The ability to drive a motorcycle enables the Territory Sales Officer to cover larger areas, reach customers more easily, and potentially visit multiple locations in a shorter period.
